What the Art Walk is all about
The La Habra Art Walk will showcase, inspire, and encourage the arts in our community. We aim to promote the arts as a powerful means of healing and self-expression, particularly for children and adults with special needs. We will support local artists so they can focus on their creativity and artistic endeavors so they can exchange skills and ideas to benefit future generations.
What qualifies as Art?
Art is an expression of the mind and it comes in many platforms. You find them in flat pieces of art like paintings or in 3-D sculptures that interact with its surroundings. Art can move like in dance. It can be heard in music, read in poetry and literature; it can draw out emotions in film and video or brighten up communities in murals.
The La Habra Art Walk is a platform for local artists to share their talents. Our “sharing” time comes every month (at least that’s the plan).
If you are an artist and have something to share, get in touch with us.
