Orange County, California is a stunning coastal region located between Los Angeles and San Diego. It is home to a variety of art events, from free admission to the OCMA to the monthly open house organized by the Strawberry Festival Association. The Garden Grove Unified School District (GGUSD) hosts the annual Art in the Park event at Village Green Park. This interactive outdoor art festival showcases the artistic talent of GGUSD students from preschool to twelfth grade.
Visitors can enjoy art workshops, various dining options, guided art tours, nighttime musical entertainment and hands-on demonstrations. Pets are not allowed in the museum but are welcome off-campus at the Segerstrom Center for Arts. The First Impressions student art exhibition is located at the Garden Grove Courtyard Center, in Village Green Park, at 12732 Main Street. This exhibition presents works of art from different eras, from large painted ceramic vessels used during the Neolithic period to camel and horse sculptures made in the middle of the Silk Road, to beautiful embroidered silk-cut tunics and ivory carvings from the 19th century.
Orange County also offers a variety of other attractions such as Orange County Businesses, Orange County Health Information, Resources for Orange County Residents, Orange County Education and Orange County Real Estate. Downtown Santa Ana (DTSA) is probably more reminiscent of a classic downtown than any historic center in Orange County. On the first Saturday of every month, DTSA is filled with art when galleries, theaters, artists and performers organize an open house for the public. Attending art events in Orange County is an excellent way to explore and appreciate different forms of art.
